A small but substantial floe around 300 m in diameter, with new rubble around the perimeter. There were 2.5 m thick upturned blocks. There were also several ridges and considerable snow drifting.The measurements included a snow depth and ice thickness survey, soot sampling, and a characterization of the snow cover.
