| Site 21 10 September Latitude: 88 48.801 N Longitude: 164 08.136 E A large fairly flat floe over a kilometer across. The only topography was some old ridges and some mature melt ponds. The frozen surfaces of the ponds on this floe were typically about 40 cm below the unponded surface. The measurements included a snow depth and ice thickness survey, and a characterization of the snow cover. |
