| Site 15 2 September Latitude: 85 07.337 N Longitude: 154 47.979 W A small multiyear floe riddled with melt pond. It was deemed unsuitable for buoy deployment. There is enough snow for snow depth surveys. Ponds continue to freeze. The measurements included a snow depth / ice thickness survey, soot sampling, ice cores, melt pond properties, and a characterization of the snowpack. |
