| Site 13 31 August Latitude: 84 10.249 N Longitude: 150 59.71 W A multiyear floe with freezing ponds and fluffy new snow. Most ponds now have ice thick enough to walk on. The measurements included an ice thickness survey, soot sampling, ice cores, melt pond properties, transmission measurements, and a characterization of the snowpack. A few albedo measurements were also made. |
