| Site 12 30 August Latitude: 83 57.277 N Longitude: 143 11.516 W A thinner multiyear floe with more snow. Most ponds now have ice thick enough to walk on. The measurements included an ice thickness survey, soot sampling, ice cores, melt pond properties, transmission measurements, and a characterization of the surface scattering layer. |
