| Site 07 22 August Latitude: 83 20.028 N Longitude: 171 59.351 W This was the Ice Liberty site, a multiyear floe more than 2-m-thick with a pond free central area. The measurements included an ice thickness survey, soot sampling, ice cores, transmission measurements, and a characterization of the surface scattering layer. |
