| Site 05 25 August Latitude: 83 07.844 N Longitude: 174 40.283 W This was a large multiyear with many large ponds. There was an area that was pond free that was used to install buoys, including an IMB, a web cam, a met buoy, and an ocean buoy. The measurements included an ice thickness survey, soot sampling, ice cores, transmission measurements, and a characterization of the surface scattering layer and of melt ponds. |
