Solar disk not visible Scans were made from the flying bridge of the ship to get a sampling of all available ice types. The ship was in motion during the measurements. The solid black line is the mean for the 32 measurements and the dashed red line the standard deviation. There was a combination of open water, nilas, thin ice, and snow-covered ice. |
