Date: 27 August 2005 Time: 2238-2316 UT Latitude: 84.1081 N Longitude: 167.932 W Sky: Complete overcast. Solar disk clearly visible. Scans were made from the flying bridge of the ship every 60 seconds. The ship was in motion during the measurements. The solid black line is the mean for the 39 measurements and the dashed red line the standard deviation. The surface was a mixture of freezing bare ice, melt ponds, and open water. Ponds have frozen over and most have a light dusting of snow. |
