Date: 22 August 2005 Time: 2329-0010 UT Latitude: 81.0864 N Longitude: 176.915 W Sky: Complete overcast. Solar disk not visible. Scans were made from the flying bridge of the ship every 30 seconds. The ship was in motion during the measurements. The solid black line is the mean for the 43 measurements and the dashed red line the standard deviation. The surface was a mixture of melting bare ice, melt ponds, and open water. The smaller ponds are beginning to freeze. |
