Date: 19 August 2005 Time: 2245-2353 UT Latitude: 78.5659 N Longitude: 177.831 W Sky: Foggy. Solar disk clearly visible. Scans were made from the flying bridge of the ship every 60 seconds. The ship was in motion during the measurements. The solid black line is the mean for the 65 measurements and the dashed red line the standard deviation. The surface was a mixture of melting bare ice, melt ponds, and open water. |
