Date: 17 August 2005 Time: 2310-2340 UT Latitude: 78.2903 N Longitude: 172.750 W Sky: Complete overcast. Solar disk visible. Foggy. Scans were made from the flying bridge of the ship every 60 seconds. The ship was in motion during the measurements. The solid black line is the mean for the 48 measurements and the dashed red line the standard deviation. The surface was a mixture of melting bare ice, blue and dark melt ponds,and open water. |
