All the data presented in this web site is available in Excel spreadsheet form in the directory DATAFILES. Each general datatype has its own spreadsheet and some of the spreadsheets have multiple pages with data from individual days or sites. Basic metadata and column headers are included in each spreadsheet. The data can be accessed by clicking on the links below. If you have questions contact: Don Perovich.

 


Ice watch - observations from the bi-hourly ice watch. This includes the ships position as well estimates of ice thickness, concentration, snow depth, pond fraction, sediment coverage, algal coloration, and weather.

Snow depth / ice thickness profiles - profiles of snow depth and ice thickness made during the EM-31 thickness surveys (0.6 MB).

All-wave incoming irradiance - results from the continual monitoring of incident shortwave and longwave radiation. The measurements were made from the flying bridge of the ship.

Spectral incident irradiance - results from the measurements of spectral incident irradiance made from the flying bridge of the ship (2.0 MB).

Spectral reflectance - results from the spectral reflectance measurements made from the flying bridge and bow while the ship was in transit (30.0 MB).

Ice mass balance buoys - summary of drift track and ice mass balance data from the three buoys (2005D, 2005E, and 2005F) installed during HOTRAX.

Soot observations - measurements of soot and sediment levels in the surface layer.
