| Site 04 22 August Latitude: 81 13.565 N Longitude: 177 11.679 W The measurements included an ice core, two light transmission sites (bare ice and melt pond), a 1.1- km-long ice thickness survey, soot samples, melt pond, thickness, temperature, and salinity measurements, and a profile of a lead. The average ice thickness on the floe was 1.4 m and the ponds were about 30 to 40 cm deep. We also made some measurements in the lead. |
