A selection of dates shows the temporal evolution of the wavelength-integrated albedo at the Tundra site. The large spatial variability seen on 5 June is due to partial snow coverage. Note that the albedo increases slightly from 14 June to 23 June that is probably  be due to the "blooming" of the tundra.

The temporal evolution of the Tundra site spectral albedo measurements. Data from some wavelength bands have been deleted due to low signal levels.

A comparison of the wavelength-integrated albedo with the albedos at 500 nm, 1000 nm, and 1500 nm at the Tundra site. Note the slight, but continuous, increase at 1500 nm as the snow melts and the tundra blooms.
