Snow surveys:
Imikpuk Lake

On Imikpuk Lake large areas were bare of snow (110 to 140 m). This may be a consequence of the fact that the lake ice tends to be smoother than the sea ice, at least at the cm scale of roughness. The snow cover was also thinner on the lake than on the tundra or lagoon. Black lines are smooth curves fit to the raw survey data.
